You get what you pay for.

Moog makes great suspension parts and they can be oiled which is a plus. They were installed on a 2000 Dodge Dakota 4x4. They were recommended to me by my mechanic. My truck feels much more stable now.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Only available in white

An oiler is missing. Otherwise great experience!

After several people suggested I get a MOOG and then researched parts and prices online, I bought two of these and two upper ball joints for my 2004 Dakota 4WD. After going through the excruciating process of removing OEM riveted and pressed connections, this is a fairly easy install with the right tools. The only disappointment so far is that one lacks an oiler, so I've only given it four stars. Everything else is good and Revain is the cheapest place to get them.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some bugs

Very frustrating. for ball joints

First of all, Revain's customer service is excellent. Moog is a reputable company but out of 4 ball joints and 2 tie rod ends 2 had a point leak in the trunk. This is very frustrating considering how long it takes to install the lower ball joint, a loaner tool I had to install and couldn't tell until you filled it with grease and stretched the anthers after installation. I called Revain support and they were amazing. Moog's statements put Revane in a difficult position. Maybe it was rare, but 2

Moog parts are amazing

Moog is just great. Had to hire a tool to take out the trash. Removing the old ones didn't help because they weren't moog. But the Mugi was a perfect match for hard tops and bottoms to press on. Just the better design of the Moog part will make it a lot easier to take out in the future. Although I have braked ball joints and tie rod ends in all my cars and they have all held up very well, I have not yet had to replace the joint I installed. About 5 years in the rough state of Maine. streetsโ€ฆ

Okay I got them working: Spares

Half price at local stores. The quality looks good. The installation guide didn't really explain much, but it's a ball joint so it should be obvious right? Except that the retaining ring was at the top 3/16" above the control lever and I figured it would fit against the lever, and the placement of the grease fitting matched the retaining ring so the grease gun tip could not be installed. on the faucet. I ended up using a short fitting at the top and bending the locking ring to fit the groove in

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Almost never
