these are made in china. they cost $85 in July 2013

I love the Moog but these ball joints don't have a grease fitting so they're cheap. and the socket broke after about a year. I would rather have a quality bushing and no ball joint than a cheap bushing with a cheap ball joint.

  • Weight
Cons
  • So far so good

Junk good for control levers

I installed it less than a year ago and it's already broken. I don't even drive more than 6000 km. . I actually bought a Sienna from a Toyota dealer and they confirmed to me that it was broken. It actually cost me another $150 to check it out thinking there might be some other issues with the van. Unbelievable.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Expensive

Bought both sides. Let us .

Both sides bought. Let's just say they came in different sized boxes and had different ball joints. I used the wishbones but not the ball joints because they were at a different angle. I'm not even sure if these are legitimate Moog parts but once the car was on jack stands I had no choice. I would not buy again.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • loose change

Works great on a 2001 Toyota Avalon.

Works like a charm on a 2001 Toyota Avalon. The perfect landing bolt. Please learn from my mistake of not having a ball joint splitting yoke and a large ball joint splitting hammer. I would save myself 2 days of bad luck with the wrong tool before renting one from autozone. Here's a good one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CMJHCI?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4 The control lever was installed within 2 months with no problems and a significant improvement in ride quality. ! ATTENTION! The ball joint pin is made of very cheap metal. During assembly it broke when screwing it on. I didn't even get the recommended torque of about 55 ft-lbs. The bolt broke off when I only applied about 40. Then I had to pull the bolt out with every conceivable tool. It took me half an hour to remove it - ended up having to exert about 100 pounds of force on a long pry bar while another unscrewed the screw. (That's why the top part of the picture is so messed up.) I've informed Mugu…
