After much perusing and research of different solar-powered lighting options for my front walk, I settled on the Moonrays model #91754. I compared products and prices at W*l-M*rt, Sh*pk*, H*me Dep*t, and ebay, and based on my criteria, this one looked the best on paper. UPDATE- Manufacturer came through with complete replacement of lamps with separation of the globe from the post. The response of the company-Coleman is commendable. They do support their product. I have changed rating to three stars based on the warranty replacements. There still is an issue with the fragile support posts. Short life fixture.

First of all let me say that these lights, out of the box and working, are about the best you can get. They are bright and attractive just as advertised. My experience however is not that positive given the fact that these lights do not seem to last very long before they begin to fail. Likely before two years are out. The most common flaw seems to be the automatic on/off feature. After a while they don't don't go off and the rechargeable batteries (which are not cheap to replace) simply drain…

A bright light: my feedback

I have been looking for solar lights for some time and most are rather dim as they have only 1 battery, less than 5 lumens. These Moonrays are quite different, 3 batteries with 30 lumens and the glass globe has curved panels so the light is projected farther and a cool look. As for mounting a lot of reviews say the stakes suck, which I will agree, although I didn't even try the supplied stakes. I think they are inadequate. One reviewer recommended rebar but I found a better way. You get PVC…

great light for the price -- still working great for over a year after other lights have died

Great quality for the price. I bought several different lights about a year ago to see how they did over time -- many solar-powered lights work well for a few weeks/months then stop working. These have continued to light well for over a year, and they were my choice to install in the rest of the yard. Better than expected

This is a short term review. I've had them for 2 days. I un-packaged and assembled the lights and set them in full afternoon sun the day they arrived to maximize their recharging. Set them in the intended spots (full morning to noon sun). Checked in on them at about 9:00pm and was pleasantly surprised by the brightness. Looked great up close and from the street 40' away.
