PCV Valve Mopar - PCV Valve and Breather Bushings

My Dodge Ram is 16 years old and I cleaned the PCV valve every few years but never replaced it. It was long overdue to replace and appears to be a genuine Mopar replacement part identical to the original.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Minor Stuff

Annoying to remove the old one

I replaced this valve in a 2003 Dodge Ram and it was a hassle to remove the old one. The plastic kept breaking on top until there was nothing left and little room for tools to pull out. I've heard better luck with new 5.7 engine Rams or Challengers/Chargers. Installing the new valve took 2 seconds and my truck now runs smoothly with acceleration and restored power.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
