Let me say up front that I'm a big fan of Morakniv! These are my favorite work knives, I use my Companion and Garberg around the house and in the bush when hiking in the mountains! Moraknivs are made with pride and it shows in the product. They're made out of regular steel, but it's a decent metal, and it's heat treated really properly to get the most out of the tool. I find the plastic handles to be very comfortable, ergonomic and durable and I love how light the knives are as I have arthritis
