Faulty cabling is best in computers and accessories

I bought this cable to connect my second monitor to a Thinkpad computer dock as I work from home. The cable just doesn't work anymore. I have to play around with plugging and unplugging for a while and sometimes rebooting the whole computer to plug it back in. Very destructive and disappointing.

And then there were 2 screens.

I don't know what the reviews mean by "Transparency" and "Thickness" but I tried this product on a whim since my GPU only has 1 HDMI port and 3 DP ports, and I use all the HDMI cables I'm trying this product. Surprise for the cost I paid for 1 unit and it works perfectly. Loved it, now use 2 monitors for my gaming pc.

This adapter will solve your HDMI display port problem.

Haven't really used it yet as I've been busy moving my engineering lab. I'm sure it will work fine with my Lenovo laptop's display port. The laptop is used for laboratory instrument applications that have advanced software diagnostics. The delivery was fast and everything went smoothly. This table is almost ready, equipped with an interface and a large monitor that will go to this lab soon. Thanks very much!

Works one way only - connects to a DP PC, not a DP monitor

This isn't a blow to the manufacturer, but it would be nice to know. I bought in preparation for sending a group of people to work from home so they could use multiple DP monitors from the office. I figured plug it into the DP port on the monitor and then go to my laptops via HDMI. works great for some teams that had a DP PC but an HDMI monitor. It just doesn't work the other way around.

Works great with Thinkpad docking station

I have a Thinkpad X220 that I've been using every day since it was released. When I recently started working from home instead of traveling, I decided to buy a docking station to connect to a 32-inch 1080p Samsung LCD TV. The dock also has DisplayPort instead of HDMI, so I went with that adapter. works perfectly - the video is clear, I do not see any aberrations and artifacts, the sound is also clear, there are no lags, what can I say, in general I am very satisfied.
