We live in Minnesota and my girl is warm enough here! Plus we get compliments from them all the time. she loves them! Highly recommended! (Also, we went sledding for 40 minutes and her feet stayed warm. I think they would be fine if you were in the cold for any length of time...no. But for my 2 year old who doesn't have a frost for long they are lovely! )

I wouldn't say they're close to $50, but they're very cute. Some parts look cheap but overall these are good boots and should last a long time. There are better quality boots out there but overall they are cute and decent quality. Would I buy again because of the attraction. My kids love them.
