Morgan Products Plastic No Slip 123 Review

I've tried so many different types of punch-pin frames and these are by far the best if you want your work to be portable and teachable. Exactly what you need for perforating. Now I've bought them from 5" to 17" and use them all. So unless you really want a big wooden frame, put your hard-earned cash in the Morgan Hoop. You will not regret it.

I am new to embroidery and ordered this hoop because I didn't like my fabric constantly slipping off the hoop. This is a game changer. I was concerned that the plastic tab might be sharp or wear down my stitching, but it doesn't AT ALL and somehow holds my fabric perfectly. I love the eye too. I've had enough of other hoops although I haven't messed with the hoop tape I just used the bare hoop. They all have the same problem: the cloth drum is difficult to wind and requires a lot of fiddling. That's why I love Q Snaps and never thought of trying another hoop until I saw this one. I had issues with the fabric tension at first, but I found that bypassing the hoop and stretching the entire fabric as you walked gave me very good tension.
