Installation solution

I have a similar problem installing Moroso 20509. I called Moroso and they will install it for free if I send them my pan, timing case cover and rear main. Basically, Moroso will mount my parts on their block so they can tune the swamp. While I'm not thrilled with the downtime and the need to ship engine parts across the country, I'm glad Moroso will address the issue.

Pros
  • Pans and drain plugs
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Bad Customer Service

I bought this oil pan on April 21st and paid $400 to have my engine builder put the engine in my car. As he filled the engine with oil, he noticed oil leaking from the weld. Swamp I contacted the seller and explained to him what happened and that I was willing to leave the swamp and fix it myself if they were willing to give me a partial refund out of my car to fix this pan, they offered me $30 if it wasn't a slap in the face. Buyers beware of this seller.

Pros
  • Drive
Cons
  • Hard to tell

This week I will contact Moroso about this. In my experience most boxed oil pans are terrible at how they fit initially. engine and/or chassis. The problems aren't usually with the really expensive stuff (custom builds like Steph's) that most people don't want to buy, but when you factor in the time you spend assembling a cheaper…
