🔧 Optimized Moroso 24965 Oil Pump Pickup for Subaru EJ 20/EJ 25 Review

Cheaper than Killer B and just as functional! Really well built and worked great on my 08 Legacy GT! Including O-ring, screws and sensor in the box.

This has saved me many cracks in the oil pickup tube over time resulting in oil starvation and engine explosion. My oil pressure light came on. I quickly turned it off, removed the pan and, of course, cracked. The pickup tube is in place, this is her photo, this new pickup is much more powerful, this is a must have for anyone who loves their music.

Purchased to replace the infamous OEM pickup in my 2006 STI. It's been in the car for 5200 miles and the car is still running so obviously no problem with it! I ended up buying it through the Killer B brand because I liked the shape and size of the cartridge better, as well as what I see as a better filter screen and simplified mount.

While I was converting everything to the new EJ25 engine block, this oil collector was a must have. My 2006 stock was fine, but Subaru reduced the pipe diameter by about 20% by using a kink. As other reviewers have noted, this thing is very durable. With forged pistons installed and a power increase, it's nice to be able to rely on the oil supply to remain constant.

Perfect fit and even stronger/tougher than it appears in the pictures. High quality welds, good protective coating. It was really tricky fitting the oil pan around the 05 Legacy GT's exhaust heat shields, but that's Subaru nature. Bought as a preventive measure, I would recommend buying one of these every time you plan on removing the oil pan. Comes with Moroso stickers.

Ordered this to add to my rebuilt Sohc EJ25 engine in my 2001 Outback. Overkill, I know, but reading about cracked oil pickup pipes scared me enough to buy it. I went to install and this pipe is too tall for a regular oil pan. I was short on time and money so couldn't order an alternative pan so I sent it back. The product looked great and I will order again when I have an application where it fits just right.

Didn't fit my order even though it said it would fit, can't return because I've had it for a while so I'm eating it. As you can see, this pickup tube is a lot longer than the original one, and it's a lot longer. On picks, the stem and moroso touch the bottom of the head, and you can see that the flange of the pipe extends well beyond the rim of the head. I had to trim the baffles to fit as they have a more square angle than the standard baffles. In any case, it will NOT fit all EJ25.

Fits my 2005 Subaru Legacy GT with no problems. Compared to stock, it's clear why these tubes keep breaking. This block is very durable and we will make it. When you take it out of the box, it looks different from the original. But if you compare it to where it sits in the pan and on the block it should make sense.
