Built like a tank, brilliant

Well constructed, solves the specific problem of cutting thick AWG wires too short. If ABC is the ports on the back and 123 is on the front, you can use 1 and C to fix that an AWG 6 is too short.

Pros
  • Clamps
Cons
  • Little things

Good product at IDC Electrical

Does what I need, 2 wires go in one side, one goes out the other side. They aren't in the photo, but I had removable plugs/covers on each port to cover those that didn't have wires coming out, or access for lag screws. Not so big, takes up too much panel space. Will order more.

Pros
  • Wiring and Connector
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Good quality and pre-installed with Noalox

Three of these were used to add wiring from the main switchboard in a house to an auxiliary switchboard in a new shop. The #6AWG ground was routed directly from panel to panel. Compact enough to fit all three in a small 4" x 6" x 8" junction box (a bit cramped, but with proper cable routing). They fit easily in number 2 AWG. They come with enough plugs for all ports and are pre-installed and we will be buying them again for the next project.

Pros
  • IDC Electrical
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
