🚨 Morris Products Round Head LED Combo Exit Emergency Light: Red LED, Energy Saving Lamps, Fully Automatic Review

We have installed 8 of these devices so far and they are working well. The lighting is excellent and our local fire chief was pleased when he carried out the inspection. The real test will be next year when we have to test again. We'll then see how well the batteries hold up in a few years and I'll come back and update my review.

That's what they say. It came on time. The included #8 screws don't fit the standard socket, so I need to find #6 screws to install them properly. The instruction is very bad but the installation is not that difficult so if you have experience it is not difficult installation.

Over the past year I have bought about 10 of these for our church building to either replace the old or new classrooms. We had a citywide blackout on Monday and they all lit up immediately. The church was empty, but I went for a walk, and there was enough light in all the halls and classrooms for easy evacuation if it was done in the presence of people. The investment is worth it!

I bought about 6 to install around doors in a large warehouse. They did a really good job of replacing aging halogen bulbs that were already in place and not working. They light up the room well and are easy to assemble. My only concern is that they are practically 100% plastic and I don't know how long they will last. But for the price, if we can get 10 years out of them I'd be happy.

I have other Morris Emergency Lights so bought them when I saw their name on this one. LED has lowered the price of emergency lighting. Batteries are much smaller with LED. Those old, big emergency bulbs are expensive, and batteries often cost around $60. I change them when they wear out. I'm also adding more emergency lights that connect to exit signs as the extra emergency lights don't really add much to the price. In order for it to function properly, you must snap the small battery circuit connector into place on the bottom left of the unit before turning on the main AC power. the instructions say nothing about this (although small, hard-to-read stickers inside the device indicate this). Much more compact than the old one I replaced, used a large lead acid battery and the bulbs didn't last long. I just plugged in the red wire and didn't use it. Plugged in, built into the wallbox and connected the battery connector once the power was on. As other reviews have mentioned, the instructions are pretty much useless. good quality product; they even include an optional faceplate; I assume this is in case you hit the wrong directional arrow.
