I passed 2 of them. complete crap, buy Denso OEM unit

I put them in my crappy LeMons 24 hour race car. One collapsed after running around for a few miles, the other made it halfway through a 16-hour race before breaking out.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Legacy model

Best of all, I bought this part myself

Midas was going to charge me $240 to put this part in my car! I'm looking at amzaon and it cost me $17.99 and I invested it myself it was so easy and I'm a woman. My car runs so good and smooth I own a 2005 Toyota Corolla and I'm so happy I found out about it before Midas robbed me!

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons

The air mass meter failed after 2 months.

Well done seller, delivery is very good. The sensor lasted exactly 2 months, then my engine started and died in a second. Tried to start 30 times, same thing. I had to evacuate my car. I replaced the MAF sensor with an OEM Toyota sensor and the car started the first time.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Many things

Failed after 3.5 months

Liked the price and fixed the MAF sensor problem on our 2008 Prius but only after 3.5 months of use and its built in IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor went out of service; fully open. A lot of time was spent testing the wiring harness and ECU, looking for wiring diagrams, etc. It turned out that the opposite code could not be obtained with the wiring harness jumper. Instead I bought a Delphi AF10135, tested this faulty device with a multimeter; is now evident. Sorry, I suspected the early…

Don't be a cheapskate, buy an OEM sensor

I thought "why don't you try it? How bad can that be? Well this MostPlus MAF sensor only lasted a week and then gave me the same check engine light and codes I had before. It's a piece of junk! Don't try to go cheaper. Invest in an OEM sensor and fix the problem the first time. Otherwise you will still buy an OEM after it fails. Then you have 2 sensors that don't work and wasted money that could have been invested in getting the right part to fix your problem the first time.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

2005 Corolla fits perfectly

Perfect fit for my 2005 Corolla. I've been struggling with the lean mix code for my Corolla for a while. The code usually appears in cold weather when the car is idling but has not yet reached thermal equilibrium. The idle dropped to a minimum, the car almost stalled, and the code reported this. I came across a Toyota Bulletin about my model year's faulty MAFs. I bought this item to solve this problem. I no longer get the code message and the car runs much better, but there is still an…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Vulgarity
