Lasted two days. Poor quality coil.

Two days after installation, the car stalled (no spark) on the highway. The coil is bad. I put it in the dustbin and it's working fine again.

Stopped 4 months

Fitted in late March and sporadic start up early July didn't start, now it won't crank enough to test and was found to have failed the secondary coil.

Finally fixed the problem!

So after replacing the coil, spark plugs and wires, the whole distributor was left. The '99 Honda Civic wouldn't run and randomly started after a few tries, but died shortly after starting. Purrs like a kitten now.

Perfect fit for 99civic dx

It was a simple install, literally unplug, unplug and replace. Well, a little more work to keep the time about the same. Also other local options are $220 plus. My entire distributor was shot to pieces (corroded on the inside) and installation began immediately! I've been a member for a week now, if anything happens I'll add it.

Pros
  • Decoupling Part number
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good work! - Ignition parts

I may have gotten into my distributor and shorted out when I was flushing the heater core causing my distributor to fail. Replaced with this distributor and it caught fire right on my '99 Honda Civic. It's only been 21 days, but so far so good. I think it's a good price and the quality of the distributor is about the same as the old one in the car if not better.

Pros
  • Including
Cons
  • bits and pieces
