🔌 Compatible Ignition Distributor for 1996-1998 Honda Civic 1.6L SOHC & Civic del Sol D16Y7 D16Y - MOSTPLUS TD-80U Review

My brother who doesn't know much about cars replaced this part in less than 30 minutes. The car had a crack before it was replaced. His car just stalled and wouldn't start, starting with no problems.

I purchased an aftermarket clear distributor cap from Accel/Mr Gasket which says it will fit my engine but will not work with this distributor. Just use the one that comes with the kit.

Very good price local shop asked for double or triple and it works great will post again if they fail early for some reason I was a bit skeptical at first but it's days now not made abroad

My Civic 98 starts and runs fine, but as soon as it warms up the engine stalls. I took it to the store and they charged $300 for parts and labor to put a new distributor in. I installed one with only three screws and my car runs like new. Very happy!

Broke while driving in just one month. The car suddenly died in the middle of the city, they towed it to my house, they ran diagnostics and found that I had no spark. I've replaced the ignition wires and spark plugs, and assuming the distributor was new, that's the last thing I checked. Should have known about that sketchy brand.

And indeed, I got and installed it a while ago and now I'm on my way again. It took 1 hour, but I'm driving my baby again and just in time because I'm going to work tomorrow morning 👌😀😍😎

Very easy to install. My car kept giving the crankshaft sensor code, replace the sensor, but after about a month it wouldn't start and gave the same code. I checked the spark, but it wasn't there, it turned out that the old distributor was completely rusted inside. I installed this distributor in about 10 minutes and the machine runs like it has always done since I bought it.

This is how I drove a 1998 Civic GX with a high-compression D16B5. Due to the less volatile nature of CNG compared to gasoline, the ignition system needs to be perfect and I had misfires. The factory distributor was faulty from the previous owner as one of the cylinder head screws was stuck in the bodywork so I couldn't use it, even used petrol spark plugs that aren't suitable for CNG. There were many Civics at my local junkyard but none of them had a TEC factory dealer as they were all taken…
