The GIGABYTE B550 Gaming X V2 motherboard has a “talking” name: the model is designed to assemble a gaming computer. The board will appeal to fans of the AMD brand: the device is designed for mounting processors of this particular manufacturer (AM4 socket). Compliance with the motherboard form factor Standard-ATX contributes to the convenience of assembling the system. The height and width of the board are 305 and 244 mm, respectively. The maximum allowable memory is 128 GB. The board has three PCI-E x1 slots. Support for the NVMe standard guarantees the ability to operate ultra-fast solid state drives. There is a gigabit Ethernet port and a 7.1 audio adapter. The board has a large number of USB ports: you will not have any difficulties connecting even numerous peripheral devices.

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

Wound up right away with the 5600X on board. Prior to this, this percent inserted the motherboard into the B450, but even with the latest beta bios, for some reason, the dual-channel memory mode did not work there. I had to fork out for a new chip . I still don't understand why motherboards with this chipset are so expensive.

Pros
  • Works with the latest Ryzen out of the box. Already two M.2 connectors.
Cons
  • "Brilliant" arrangement of PCI connectors - either instead of a video card, or blocking its cooler. In fact, there is only 1 normal connector when using a video card. But I doubt that someone would not insert it into the motherboard with the postscript "Gaming". Weak color gamut, the paint has run out, even the RAM channels do not differ in colors.

High-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

In general, the pay is decent. For a great price, with great potential. For me personally, it has enough of all the features, it perfectly accepted AMD Ryzen 5 5600x under overclocking to 4.2 Mhz, with Kingston fury 8 + 8 memory, on Hynix chips, with xmp profile 3200 Mhz. Everything started without dancing with a tambourine, out of the box. I think that this board is the most for the above stone. I recommend to buy!

  • - Two sata ports are not located frontally, but to the side, which makes it inconvenient to connect disks, since the remaining two ports are located normally.

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

Works great with the Ryzen 7 5700X. Overclocked the memory without any problems. I would like to add that PCI-E 4.0 is supported on the board. With its pros: - Low price. - Good cooling of the VRM zone. - Out of the box, a BIOS version was installed that supports all modern processors. Not a good product, sorry to have spent money on it.

For the 5th day in a row, I have been struggling with why my 4 sticks of RAM work in a single channel. And it doesn't matter if there are 4 or 2 of them, the dual-channel mode stupidly does not start! And dug into the BIOS, and reinstalled the firewood, nothing helps! It was taken under an expensive gaming computer, but due to the single-channel mode of operation of the RAM, it is impossible to play games due to constant friezes!

Well done, but I won't buy any more.

At first I thought that the problems with the PSU, such as 600W, do not take out the percent, 4 memory modules, 2 m2 of disk and video card, and well, coolers in the amount of 3 system and 1 processor. An external measurement indicates a consumption of less than 200 watts, for little, maybe 5 volts sags. I replaced the PSU with a 750W - but nothing has changed. You turn on the computer, after a few seconds it turns off and on again, while the settings are reset. But, this does not always…

  • Works incorrectly with 4 memory modules. This is expressed in problems when turning on, then resetting the BIOS / SETUP to factory settings, which this same BIOS / SETUP successfully reports every time after turning on.

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

Convenient to use. All bolts are included. So far I have not figured out how to use the Type-C connector, but for my work at the computer this is not so critical.
