Motion Pro 08-0553: 144 Piece Black Steel 1/8 oz. Wheel Weight for Effective Tire Balancing Review

Lots of weights in the box, should last a few years, change tires 2 times a year. The tape stuck well, but I used Gorilla tape just in case.

I have these to weight down the wheels on my Everest 10 and 16 tracks. Perfect size for my application. The glue is very strong. Very satisfied, will use again in the future.

Seems to be holding up pretty well. Just make sure you have clean wheels and wipe down where the weights are first with rubbing alcohol. Mine have driven several thousand kilometers, I drive in any weather.

Used these weights to static balance some sport bike tires. For the first time, vibrations in handles are reduced. The weights remained attached to the wheels and color-matched to the rims. I believe if someone wants to do things right, they should do it themselves.

Grateful for being able to find 1/8 oz wheel balance weights, I found that 24 of them, including the adhesive backing, weigh 81 grams instead of the 84+ grams they should. However, they offer better balancing accuracy than the minimum accepted weight of 1/4 oz.

This order was rather disappointing. I ordered 1/8 oz, 3 boxes. What I received was 1 box of 1/4 oz. It took a while, only about three weeks, but after sending the 1/4 ounce box back, I finally got what I ordered. This makes balancing the wheels on my bike much more accurate than using the 1/4 ounce weights. Sometimes 3 was not enough and 4 was too much. Now they're making finer adjustments.

Holds up very well - I've read other reviews of people saying they fall off but they don't. Use common sense and clean the stain with acetone or brake parts cleaner and you'll be safe without tape. I even stacked them on top of each other and had no problem getting them out. The paint is really black and looks good. 1/8 ounce is half the size of the standard weights that stores use, so using twice as many weights with these smaller denominations can be annoying and not as aesthetically…
