but expects more durability than single use

I haven't used it as scrap just a press and rivet but in riveting a base or socket or something else that is part of an anvil type. divided into several parts. I could always use a different bit and put my chain on, but expected more durability than less than one use.

Good tool but no plastic case like before

I have used this product in the past whenever I bought a new kit, it didn't have a plastic case to put everything like the old kit. All you get are just pieces. For the price you're thinking, Motion Pro could give you a plastic body like it used to be.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Negative gift

Junk metal best for motorcycles and motorsports

This product is absolute junk. I used it on an A520 chain and it broke the head pin completely after I even sanded down the front of the pins. The rivet and punch also get stuck because they don't go far enough. These are cheap metal pins. It's difficult to turn and the plates accidentally fall out when you try to use the tool. I wish I could pick up a bunch of crap metal and sell it for $100.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not bad

Good quality is best in tool kits

Be sure to follow the instructions the first time you use it, but other than that it's pretty easy to use. Used when changing the chain and sprockets from a Vulcan 800 chain to a 530 chain. The reason for the 4 stars is that it can be difficult to keep all the parts together and align the rivets when installing the plate. This step was quite time consuming and frustrating. It's also a little pricey, but I felt like it was one of those tools that would probably break the cheap Harbor Freight…

The thing is absolute nonsense. I somehow made it.

This thing is an absolute poop. I somehow managed to deal with it, but not before it practically collapsed on me. It consists of one of the weakest metals known to man. Every step broke. The fact that it's over $20 is mind blowing. I read other reviews and found that everything is fine. But gosh, it was a bloody chore to use. I don't know what to say. I mean it did the job. But I literally couldn't use it again as it ripped.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

The thing does everything. i needed it

This item goes above and beyond. I needed it to rivet the main link which he did great, only one issue was the anvil broke/cracked. Luckily, the kit comes with two other pieces that can be used to support the main clamp, allowing the rivet portion of the tool to oppose the main link. It can also push through the pins to shorten the chain as well as squeeze the links together. I could save myself buying two more tools, a press and a jackhammer, if I knew this thing could do all three. Although I

great tool: tool sets

At first I thought I'd go cheap and use the C-Clip. After about an hour of trying. well that didn't work. So when I looked around I saw this and after reading the reviews about it I thought why not try it. It took me about 20 minutes from opening the package to making the chain. I wish I could buy this for the first time. That would save me a lot of time. It was very easy to assemble and use. The hardest part was aligning the holes when I attached the main rivet link. The tool itself makes a…
