MOTOKU Carburetor Choke Cable for CV40 CV44 mm - Smooth Operation and Superior Performance Review

This item is scrap, the handle came loose on the 1st run! I won't buy it again, I want my money back. It's amazing how much work it takes to install this thing and the handle comes off on the first run! It's funny: I feel cheated!

I really like that it locks at full throttle and not a friction type that keeps loosening and you tighten until it finally breaks. 4 stars because the handle is a drop. But with a drop of epoxy it's not difficult. Sometime from the third time I pulled out the choke, after installing it fell into my hand.

Coverall. However, the threaded plastic piece that screws into the throttle body assembly was not made of a durable material. Brass or acetal would be a better choice. It's sad because it's an original and a MOTOKU product. weren't at work. both broke quickly and I was careful not to damage the plastic fitting in any way.

Plastic handle removed in less than a week. I reattached it with some kind of Loctite Green fixative and it still hasn't come loose. The cable has a positive lock when pulled out, which is good and bad. This is good because it keeps it in the outer position and keeps the enrichment circuit open. The bad news is that it's very difficult to pull out and get into the locked position, so I think I can expect the handle to come loose again in the future.

The handle is broken as others say, but it also just hangs when you try to lock the choke. I've tried reinstalling the grip 3 times and even added copper wire to make the fit tighter. Would have jumped out anyway and wouldn't have been able to operate the choke. I had to buy another one and replace it, this thing would have let me down more than once. I like the metal bolt but it's not worth using this choke because it's too hard to open the choke and the handle is too easy to remove.
