Big! Big! - Accessories

I've been using this product for a few weeks now and I love it. I should be able to charge my phone because I'm using my Tao Motor TBR7 to deliver for Waitr. Connecting is very simple and all you have to do is open the top, connect the USB cable and press the power button. The only downside is that the device is still on when you unplug the cable and get off the bike when you come back. I don't think I'm killing the battery, but I just like turning it off when I'm done.

brought my shadow spirit from 2008 into the 21st century!

Easy installation, I had an SAE connector from the battery so I just routed a long cable down the back of the bike frame under the tank and taped it to the black trim with 3m auto tape The front frames ( under the plug and in front of the gas tank) charged my phone by 10% during a short drive (about 10-15 minutes drive). I may have only used a 1 amp connection. I just haven't tested which one is 2.1 amps yet, so it might be faster. In any case, a good buy.

Unreliable on long journeys

Easy to install and start up. Until my connected phone ran out of power halfway through the ride. Luckily I had an idea of where we were and was able to get us back to the main street. Later I tried to plug in my phone and it charged. But on the next trip it happened again. The phone says there is power when I plug it in, but it either won't stay on or there isn't enough power to charge. I'm considering a replacement and will post an update if I find out if I'm doing something wrong. Turn on…

Exactly what I was looking for!

I installed a MotoPower USB charger on my 2018 KTM 500 EXC-F Dual Sport. I have a helmet cam that syncs to my phone via Bluetooth software, but my phone ran out of battery during a recent ride and I was unable to control the camera. So I wanted a USB charger that I could leave my phone plugged into while driving. I tried it 2 days ago and it works great! My phone stayed at 100% all day. I wanted one with a power button so it wouldn't drain my battery when I wasn't driving. The only negative is…

Good product great customer service

I recently ordered two online, one for my roommate and one for myself. We both installed ours before going on our Saturday cruise. The product is easy to use except for the on/off button which is a bit tricky to use when wearing gloves. Installed very easily, I ran mine from a test under the gas tank to a zippered triple clamp. After about 30 minutes or so my charger stopped working. The green light was still on but it wouldn't charge a phone you tried a different cable it just stopped working.

  • Great price

  • Negative experience

Impossibility of fast charging and oversized fuse. Otherwise a good device.

Reading the product description one would assume that the 3.1A rating means it is fast charge compatible, but that is not the case as the output voltage is only 5V and the fastest / fastest / The turbo requires a higher voltage to charge. ALSO 3.1 amps at 5v gives about 18 watts. 36W for full charger power. With 12V going through the fuse it's only 3 amps TOTAL for the charger at maximum power. So a 7.5A fuse with a blown fuse is total overkill, making it useless. In a nutshell. , it's just a…

Preliminary rating - good, but could be better

Installed this morning and pretty easy. Straight to the battery, the cables routed under the tank and the unit attached to the steering wheel with two tabs on each side. I drove 70 miles and the device charged my iPhone from about 80 to 100% while the screen in the GPS app was on the whole time. Charges slower than my car but still moves forward. A few things I don't like: 1. Longer cables can be used. I had to join them halfway under my tank. I'd rather have this connector in the battery area…
