This trunk fits perfectly under the built in rear mat in my 2019 Outlander PHEV. Without any modification, it completely covers the rear seat backs when folded down, providing a good riding surface for my dog. The material is flexible yet durable. I aired it out in my garage during the day, but it didn't smell bad.

First of all I was very surprised that the delivery came about a few days after I placed my order. It was well packed. It's a bit wide for my car's trunk. So I just folded it up because it's a bit bigger. But it does the job. It is made of rubber so water or other liquids cannot penetrate. If you want to protect your trunk from any kind of dirt or anything that can soil it, this is a great option for the price.

Perfect for what I had in mind. The material is definitely thin enough to be cut with a pair of sharp scissors and the instructions for doing so seemed pretty clear. I didn't have to do this as it was perfect for shipping. Easy to clean (with 409 and paper towel or outside with a hose). The mat doesn't have a "rim" like a weathermat, so it won't spill. There are little grooves on the bottom that help it hook into the carpet, so I think it will stay where you put it.

I received this mat as well as the Motor Trend Premium mat. This one gets hit in the reviews for being quite thin. It is, but that's why I like it. I only need it from time to time, for example when I buy tomatoes from the nursery or fertilizer bags. It's ok for that. Light weight, easy to roll up or fold when not in use, but thick enough for my needs. Alternatively, the premium mat is much thicker and heavier and really needs to stay in the trunk. And Premium really smells. But it seems good…
