A Reliable Choice for Automotive Cooling

The 180-degree Thermostat I purchased was a complete success. According to my experience this product definitely delivers in terms of consistent engine temperature and easy installation... The Fail Safe feature provides an added layer of security, giving me peace of mind while driving. The only downside is the slightly higher price compared to other brands, but it`s worth the investment for the quality. Overall, a reliable choice for any automotive cooling needs..

Pros
  • Accurately regulates engine temperature for optimal performance and fuel efficiency.
Cons
  • May cause engine overheating if it fails in the closed position.

Couldn't open it in 3 months

I replaced my thermostat in two cars after an overheating incident in our Chevy van. I didn't want the same faulty thermostat to cause a new overheating problem, so I replaced the thermostat in our van and Jeep Cherokee with these "fail safe" thermostats. In three months, none of the cars had warmed up to operating temperature. In fact, both failed during the fall months, when temperatures typically never reach 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Neither car generated enough heat for the heater to work…

Pros
  • Made from the highest quality OE materials
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
