Took less than a month

Took less than a month (always open). The stuffing box was leaking from the start (poor design). I need to use my old quality fill.

Pros
  • Generates trust
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Crap in the engine cooling system and air conditioning

Stuck under normal driving conditions, had to be replaced. Does not work as advertised and highly recommend avoiding this product unless replacing thermostats.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product: Thermostats

Good quality thermostat. They are good because they lock in the open position when the car overheats. With non-failsafe thermostats, sometimes the thermostat will become damaged due to overheating and will no longer open. I always buy failsafe thermostats these days. It just seems safer for a few bucks more.

Pros
  • Keeping my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say

Say failure! for engine cooling and air conditioning

The thermostat works for about a month, once it gets to about 70 degrees Fahrenheit and sitting idle for enough time the car warms up to operating temp a little hot, the fan runs and boom, the thermostat opens and the car temperature drops by 60 or 70 degrees! The next time you drive, you realize that the temperature never rises above 125 degrees, sometimes stays at 100 degrees during the day and there is no significant heat in the car. that the temperature is 195 fi. I used another in my 2001…

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
