Mechanic called said rubbish

Apparently rubbish. I gave it to my mechanic, he called and said it was rubbish and leaking. Now pay for your time, order a good part and get the job done twice.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Upgrade availability

Perfect fit and corrected check engine light

Remove the airbox for easy access and easy installation. I parked uphill on the passenger side and lost less than 1/2 gallon of antifreeze. Easy to install, just DO NOT overtighten. It's plastic and has a rubber O-ring so it seals perfectly!

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Some minor things

Arrived as described. OEM quality.

My Dodge Caravan has driven 125,000 miles and has given a (P108 I think) thermostat rationality trouble code. Code cleared, no signs of overheating so I ordered a motorbike replacement. Came in branded packaging, fits perfectly, once installed everything works. I took a part off a Mopar and the $11 bike was a cheap replacement.

Pros
  • Crossing my thumbs
Cons
  • Might damage

It worked fine for 9 months, then it started to fail.

I thought I should take the one with the case, but the design isn't as good as the original. It has been improved to make parts easier to craft and reduce costs. Note that other thermostats without a case are not comparable to the case of this thermostat. If you have a good old apartment, keep it in case you need it later, like I did.

Pros
  • understandable even to the old
Cons
  • upgradeable
