Motorad ST 13 Safety Level Radiator Review

It seemed less important than the stant cap it replaced, but it works well and seems to fit my radiator ('91 F150) better.

Bought a 1978 F150 Custom Straight 6 for my dad, he needed a new cap as he had the same factory cap, seems solid, metal, seals very well and is screwed tight. The quality is very good.

The old one I removed was the same brand and the plastic handle was chipped. You should replace the radiator cap anyway when replacing the thermostat and coolant.

I had one of these on my '84 Nissan pickup and was given this to replace the old one because the seal on it looked a bit torn. I like the look of the lever so you can instantly depressurize the radiator even when it's hot so you can either check coolant or top up.

I have checked that I have the correct part for my car. Not suitable. It's not even close. The lid shown here is also round. I have a square one. Same ST-13 part number on the box but there is nothing on the lid to indicate the part number. See image.
