Cheap, expensive and not universal!

The product cost over $30 and it's not worth making from such cheap plastic and it's definitely "not universal" so don't buy if the helmet chin only at almost helmets is sharply curved with a flat or rounded chin. One thing I recommend is making them out of aluminum and maybe $10 more, but I don't know who you guys do business with. You have a great idea, but my order is snapping at the joints like I just clicked it. I ride my R3 all the time and I need something that doesn't crack on the spot…

The glue is of poor quality, with no peel-off strips. I'm disappointed.

Product fits my helmet and looks good but the adhesive was already showing and had no peeling streaks. I wouldn't trust him to hold my camera unless he had new 3M tape. As it stands now do I want a refund or I need the right tape. The picture I posted shows exactly how the item arrived. UPDATED: Changed to four stars. I went to Walmart and bought some strong Gorilla double sided tape and now the chin strap seems pretty solid. I am using a GoPro Hero5 session. I'm disappointed because it appears

Love it. I set it to my call.

I like it very much. I installed it on my Bell Race Star as another comment said you can't use a sticky center unless you want your vent to always be open or closed, but what I did is this: I measured and trimmed the slide opening and sticky glue corners so it could be used, I feel like it would be a bit more secure. I've had it for 12 days now and it holds up at good speeds up to 135mph including some slow to medium rear wheel speeds, potholes and bumps, lane separation and feels secure. I've…

Goodbye GoPro Hero 4 I think it's time for an upgrade

First of all the product seems great and fits my Shoei X-14 perfectly. I installed it on my helmet about two weeks ago so it had plenty of time to snap properly. And before everyone gets upset, YES I HAVE CLEANED THE SURFACE where I attached the bracket. I rode the bike today and had a chance to try it out and see how it holds up. It worked as expected and had no issues with it until we returned from our morning ride up the mountain. Out of the blue, I noticed my GoPro broke off and flew to the

modification is required. shoi x-fourteen.

My son is x-fourteen. Thanks to the arrangement of the ventilation holes and the aerodynamic shape of the helmet's chin bar. In fact, there is only one installation location, and that location only allows partial contact for the 3M bond at each of the three contact points. In my opinion this only provides enough security to avoid slipping if you apply a packet of Sugagra (best for this application) or silicone paste (which is more difficult to work with but no less effective) in gaps where the…

that it's one of the nicest mounts

I can't tell which helmets it fits and which doesn't; but I took a few shots showing the curvature and dimensions of the mount. The strength and speed of the SS1600 helmet Installation was a breeze. All you have to do is snap your hands onto the mount, remove the tape and stick it to the chin of the helmet. It includes 2 alcohol wipes to clean the helmet area and some simple instructions. Appearance I think as far as the helmet mount goes, this is one of the nicest mounts. It's asymmetrical and

Lots of crap, the glue doesn't hold and the clasps break.

I bought two of these. At first I liked the first one, the action was what I always wanted. part so that it was attached to my helmet and not the mount. Then the mount popped out of the other two pieces holding it in place and my camera fell into my lap. Luckily I was in the parking lot so I didn't lose my $350. I glued the center piece to the side pieces to keep it in place. One of the side panels broke. It took about 4 months to break, so I decided to take a chance and buy a second one…
