Code popped up fixed

EGR valve code popped up from time to time. Easy removal and installation. I added some anti-seize to the threads. No more code for my Lincoln Town Car 97 4.6L

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Slightly dented

The right part at the right price.

This was (of course) the last piece needed to fix the savings code on my truck. Luckily it worked and I only had a few bruised joints and a few sore back muscles that needed replacing.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Updates available

Top idle restored: exhaust and emissions

My last Mustang needed a new EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve as it was a few years old and upon inspection the valve was found to be sticking. I went with the Motorcraft CX1720, it was easy to install and eliminated a bit of idling. This part is really important and you get the best for your Ford with Motorcraft, a great price and the best choice with Revain.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Minor issues

This is an original part for EGR valves

I found rust spots inside the part - on the threads and on the inner surface. I also used a compressor to blow out some sand. I bought this as a backup as my car is getting on in years and haven't installed it yet. This part came with a gasket as shown in the picture. If the vehicle is generating EGR codes, an exhaust gas recirculation (DPFE) pressure feedback sensor and EGR pressure feedback hose may need to be replaced.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Periodicity

Great price for a quality OEM device.

Don't skimp on this important point. Slightly higher than non-OEM aftermarket but worth a few bucks more. Installed 2004 Ford Mustang based on V6 3.9L. Runs like silk now. Made in Canada is a nice bonus. I would like to see that compared to everything that comes out of Asia. Prompt shipping and careful packaging. Many thanks to Revain and your supplier. PS If possible, soak the inlet-outlet nut in penetrant several times a day for a few days. That, plus a bit of heat and a big adjustable…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
