Best price and best manufacturer (Motorcraft).

This was a Motorcraft and was new as advertised. Now it's on my car and it's great. Also buying from Revain gave me the best price!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Worked in my Ford Taurus

I replaced the AIC valve on our 2002 Taurus SEL. It is a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder, 24-valve, DOHC engine. It was the perfect match. The price of the Revain was much better than regular auto parts stores. The car idles well and accelerates like new. This does not include a new gasket and I was lucky the original gasket still worked. A new gasket retails for less than $5. Too bad Motorcraft doesn't include it. However, I recommend this AIC replacement.

Motorcraft seems to be the answer!

*** OVERVIEW Motorcraft CX1779 Air Idle Control *** I have a 2001 Mercury Sable with a DOHC engine. When the IAC fails, the car's idle speed begins to fluctuate between 800 and 1300 rpm, worse during a cold start. I've tried some of the retail stores but my experience has shown that aftermarket IACs are pretty low quality. They can last weeks or even months, but they start to break down quickly and eventually become unusable. **Further checking after reuse, especially if it starts to fail. No…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Good but not great
