🔒 Motorcraft FC920 Fuel Cap: Enhance Fuel Efficiency and Security! Review

Approached, wrong product. I bought it for Tether and it works. Cap is useless to me. Since I opened the package, it cannot be returned. Also, probably more pain than it's worth.

Part does not fit my 2002 Windstar, the original cap was a quarter turn and 3 lobe lock type, this cap is threaded . The Revain website has shown that it is compatible. The quality of the cap seems very good but not suitable for my application. 5 stars for customer service from Revain, they refunded my purchase. I strongly encourage Revain to update this information.

Product itself 10/10. However, Revain's installation guide isn't perfect. I have an early 1997 F150 XLT that has a double thread cap (the double threads go up the stem of the cap). It has a single threaded shank. To fix this I removed the soft rubber gasket from the new gas cap and slid it onto the stem of my old gas cap after removing the old hardened cap. It seems to have worked as I no longer get a P0455 code. Overall the product I received looked good and arrived on time. 10/10

This item was purchased to replace the Original Equipment gas cap on a 1997 Ford F150 4.6 Truck. The item came in an original Ford motorcycle bag and had a tether attached to the lid which was perfect for the truck. So far so good, that should solve the problem with the cover of the vehicle control station. The price was very fair and ensures it will not cause another problem as the code is the original Ford spec listed in relation to the evaporator system. FYI this cap is for a threaded cap…
