Motorcraft PW480 Water Pump Review

As a result of my tests, this water pump proved to be a reliable replacement for my old one. It runs smoothly and maintains optimal temperature for my engine. The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free, making it an easy DIY project. The only downside is that it's a bit pricier compared to other alternatives, but the quality and durability justify the cost. Overall, I highly recommend this water pump for anyone in need of a reliable engine cooling system.

This is OEM and seems to help cool the engine to the point that a higher aftermarket price is not justified. Exposed to extreme ambient temperatures, weights and grades while maintaining temperatures within the range and back to normal.

Not sure who the exact seller is. BUT the product is not original. The dead recoil was a metal impeller. OEM - black plastic. There was no O-ring to seal either. The box was resealed. And dirty. And dated 2017. Not sure if this is relevant. But don't forget to check it before installing. In fact, make sure you test it before you tear your truck apart! The item was returned and reordered from the same seller and the replacement appears to be an OEM product. Nevertheless, it is worth waiting for…
