Transmitter vs. Sensor. 2 are NOT the same. Buy both.

We remind you that this is a SENSOR for a computer. This is not a TRANSMITTER, it is for the dashboard temperature sensor. If you're having trouble installing, try the sender found here on Revain. There are 2 of them, both located in close proximity to the thermostat. One is brown, the other blue.

Pros
  • Leading manufacturer of quality products
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Fixed a bug that prevented my radiator fan from turning on

My car used to get hot when stopped at traffic lights and in traffic. I found out later that my radiator fan doesn't turn on when my AC isn't on. After research I replaced this part. It's been a few months now and still no problems. The fan turns on when it should, even when the AC is not on. What a money saver.

Pros
  • International fame for our diverse range of award winning products
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Ford Explorer 2000 OHV Vin X

I used this sensor to replace the temperature switch on my 2000 Explorer. It fits snugly in and replaces the sensor on the driver's side of the thermostat housing. It doesn't screw all the way into my car like the stock sensor, but it's solid and doesn't leak. It has been installed for several months and works perfectly. This is the sensor that controls the temperature gauge on the dashboard.

Pros
  • Full of modern tech
Cons
  • Minor issues

Fixed Ford Ranger hot start problem

My mother's 2003 Ford Ranger would not start warm for many months. If she drove a medium distance and parked the truck, she would have to wait more than 30 minutes for it to start again. I've tried replacing the inertia switch and fuel relay to no avail. I replaced this sensor and the problem is completely gone. I can't imagine how much I saved on potential dealer repair costs.

Pros
  • All products are designed for professionals
Cons
  • Long wait
