Motorcraft- SW6833 Switch: Enhance Performance and Durability Review

Installed on my daughter's 2013 Mustang after doing some reading and realizing that everything her car needs for Auto Headlights is this switch is. These cars come with a light sensor and everything is already installed on the car, but I think Ford was too cheap to put a switch in it. Installation was easy and being a Motorcraft part the fit was perfect.

Google finds a video on how to replace the switch, it's not difficult. My 2014 Mustang had a light sensor in the center of the dash, make sure you have it too, I believe it's part of the MyColor option. After installation you have automatic headlights, they light up at night and together with the wipers. The only thing you don't get is the programmable turn off time that you get when you buy a car with automatic lights. The light goes out approximately 10 seconds after the vehicle is locked.

I bought this switch to replace the non-automatic headlights that came from the factory with my 2012 Ford Fiesta SE. Simple slotted screwdriver, pull out the old one, swap the wiring harness for the new one and put it back in! It worked without any additional programming or effort!
