Works as it should

Well I bought this to replace what I thought was a broken washer pump until I pulled the old one out. Then I found that the Orange Rain x washer fluid I was using had clogged the inlet on my old one. Needless to say I don't use orange anymore, it creates a literal film of slime on the bottom of the tank. I replaced the old one anyway while it was disassembled so I didn't have to disassemble it again. It was in 99 F350

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Crumpled

Better buy a pump! best windshield washer pump

best pump for the money, other brand pumps do not seal the bottom of the tank properly. It's just an interference fit. Ask me how I know! If your washer fluid is just dripping, also check that there is no debris at the bottom of the reservoir. Also check the wiring going to the fenders in the hood. Finally, check the Y-connector under the hood. They degrade with age and cause leaks. A kit is sold here to repair and replace these lines and fittings.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast

  • not sure

On the Ranger, the reservoir is located between the radiator fluid reservoir and the breathers. I managed to unscrew the two screws holding the tank, but the third was buried under the vent and at an angle. Luckily the reservoir was loose enough that I was able to pull out the old pump and install the new one. I have no…

Works fine, good deal!

Seems like a good deal. The auto parts store sold other brands of windshield washer pumps for $17, but I decided to spend the extra money to buy a real Motorcraft. There is a significant trade in counterfeit auto parts but this appears to be a genuine Motorcraft marked "Made in Switzerland" just like the original that was in my truck. To get the old one you need to remove the tank. To do this, you must first remove the battery and then remove the battery stand. You can then get to the three…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
