🚪 Motorcraft YH-1856 Door Actuator: Optimal Performance for Smooth Door Operation Review

Perfect for my 07 Expedition. Be sure to remove the stem from the old one and align the faucet door for easier installation.

Great price, quality part, fits and performs like an OEM. Since I made it myself I saved over $600 off the retail price. It's a little tricky to remove the old one and install this one, but saving $600 is a must.

The correct part for my 2009 Expedition XLT 4x4 119" wheelbase rear HVAC auxiliary door operator. Save a lot of money on shop work and do it yourself instead of the dealer. and a lock in the top shelf for access and it is held in place with 3-8mm screws and a wire harness connector.Took me 15 minutes to swap and no more clicking/knocking every time the truck starts.

My application is a 2011 Ford Expedition with front and rear air conditioning. I am using Motorcraft parts to replace the front door motor. They're hard to come by, but you can make them yourself if you have small hands. Check Youtube before trying. Air conditioning liftgate motor replacement is via a latch with access through the cup holder and accessory tray at the top of the quarter panel.

This actuator even has a part number "1L2H-19E616-BB" (not shown in photo or description). If you hear a click from behind when you turn on the engine, or hear a click when the temperature changes, or air from floor to ceiling. The problem is that the plastic gears in the drives are stripped. DO NOT purchase a YH-1744 or YH-1743 actuator as a replacement for the part number above.
