This shelf has a very good design and is very practical for transporting small to medium-sized items. Installation is very quick and easy. I highly recommend this product!

In short, this item is cheaper than other more expensive picks. If you have some mechanical skills, you are welcome to buy it. Need padding and bending as needed to fit as mentioned in other reviews. The description says it's aluminum, but it's thick steel and quite strong. I would buy again.

For 2015 Honda CB500F but you will need to add a 7mm washer to raise the bracket high enough so it doesn't hit the rear body panels. I made spacers out of 2 pieces of aluminum. I also used my own equipment. Also, you need to add a gasket to prevent water from entering the gap. See attached pictures. There were no instructions included, but everything is pretty clear.

I expected the worst but was pleasantly surprised to find it a perfect fit for my 2020 CB500X. No seals or rework were required and I was able to leave the handrails on. Because the back of the handrail is raised, the plastic clip doesn't fit in the side panel, but I still don't understand why it's needed. If you really want to, you can put a bolt with washers in there to fill the gap.

1) Unless they invented magnetic aluminium, this rack is steel and not aluminum as described. For me that's actually preferable as I suspect it's stronger and not as heavy. However, I gave them one star for saying it's aluminum as it might be important to others and I have to watch out for rust. 2) The kit was very easy to install even though there were no instructions included. If you need instructions, go to YouTube and look for rack mounting videos. I might even leave the rear seat handles…
