Does what's expected

It does what's expected of it, except the power button LED doesn't turn off unless you unplug power or plug in another switch to turn power off interrupt . From the manufacturer it is always connected instead of also connecting the switch to the mains. I doubt a quick release like this is a long term solution, I just want to put my bike back together and eventually I'll find something that fits and is waterproof.

Good business! good for electrics and batteries

As others have said the circuit has been broken and you have blown a fuse. I connected the switch to the Nilight wiring harness and it worked great! The colors of the wire harness were red, black and white, so it became red (wire harness) - black (switch), white (wire harness) - blue (switch) and black (wire harness) - brown (switch). So the light on the switch only came on when the light was on. The wires to the switch were smaller than the wiring harness, so we'll see if there's a problem or…

Wrong wiring diagram

After hooking up my extra lights using this switch and the wiring diagram shown on Revain, every time the wires are connected to the battery the switch light comes on regardless of the switch position. I found that the vendor's schematic was wrong. Black goes to the plus of the battery, blue to the plus of the flashlight. With this connection, the backlight turns on only when the switch is on. This is the first time I see others having the same problem. ONE STAR for the seller who fails to…

Read my review if you have trouble with the wiring

The device works well but I hope this explanation will save you a headache. There are actually two ways to connect this switch.1. The LED is always on. Connect blue to plus, black to plus on the device and brown to minus. With this wiring, the internal switch is only between black and blue. This is basically the default and only schematic shown, but it will confuse many, including me, if we want the light to only turn on when the switch is on. The LED lights up when the switch is on. Connect…

Fits perfectly on my bike

I had to reconfigure the high/fog switch on my bike which was awkwardly mounted on one of the headlight housings. This meant I couldn't turn them on and off while on the bike. After I switched to LED the inside of the switch got in the way so I removed the original, bought and installed this new switch on the steering wheel and rewired accordingly. The switch light is bright enough to let you know if it's on or off even in direct sunlight (I bought the blue one). Looks great at night. The…

looks good but doesn't always work

Used on Polaris ATV for LED lights. I ordered 7/8 by mistake but found a bottleneck on the handlebar for mounting. Wired to control a relay that provides power for the lights. LED lights use less power, but this switch's wires are too thin to provide the power needed to connect directly to lights. This switch connects directly to the battery in case you need the light when the ATV engine is off, but connecting the ground wire keeps the lighted switch on 24/7, likely draining the battery. I…

I really want to like it but it turned into a nightmare. Fitted

First of all I really like the switch and I have no problems with its wiring as my bike already has auxiliary lights. This is for the second amber safety light. The problem is the black cable's sheath as it enters and exits the solid aluminum case - there's no strain relief, so it was torn by the case's sharp edge during installation. The 7/8 handlebar version is also very tight. , meaning no tolerance for talking about my bike. Once installed, there is no game that can be both good and bad. In
