It does what's expected of it, except the power button LED doesn't turn off unless you unplug power or plug in another switch to turn power off interrupt . From the manufacturer it is always connected instead of also connecting the switch to the mains. I doubt a quick release like this is a long term solution, I just want to put my bike back together and eventually I'll find something that fits and is waterproof.

As others have said the circuit has been broken and you have blown a fuse. I connected the switch to the Nilight wiring harness and it worked great! The colors of the wire harness were red, black and white, so it became red (wire harness) - black (switch), white (wire harness) - blue (switch) and black (wire harness) - brown (switch).
