good leather fits very well. It's a bit long in my torso, I'm 5'9. When it's closed it goes up when I get on the bike. The skin was all wrinkled and creased when I took it out of the box. CUT covered, it seems next. The skin is good. Inside is a holster strap. I'm not sure if this is the best way to protect your part.

Fantastic vest still in use today. Full "internal" adjustment and very thick leather. Although it comes with protective back armor, I removed it as I will be wearing an armored hooded jacket underneath. If I didn't, I would use my signature back protector with a higher impact resistance.

Arrived quickly but only found a few problems with it. Hidden tote pockets are just inside pockets like regular sized jacket pockets, the only side arm it can hide is a 22 barringer or so. Along with other reviews, yes the leather is tough, but it's a nice and thick leather and I don't have major issues with the stiffness. Would I buy this again? Probably not just because I was really disappointed with the hidden tote bags. I do like the quality of the leather though

Buy your size first, it will fit you. Bought a size up, pulled it all the way up, you can still wear a jacket underneath. I could easily wear a 2xl without tipping my sides. The skin has a slight odor, probably paint. However, it doesn't smell strongly of goatskin, so I don't know what kind of leather it is. This is a good vest, especially for the money, firstly it is very stiff when you first open it from the box. I recommend getting a leather conditioner and applying it 2-3 coats to soften it up, which I did was an old school trick of pulling it out of the way and banging the ground to give it a break to give it a somewhat restless look.
