Very dim. I expected them to be much brighter. They will work for now, but I'm sure I'll have to replace them with lighter ones soon.

Not as bright as I thought. Just remember that they need to be connected and soldered to their respective terminals and don't blow the plastic nut too much.

They are of good quality and look good. I put them on an old truck with a special bumper. It was easy for me to install them, but you'll need to connect them to a separate end if you want to remove the panel without cutting the wires again. It would be nice if the included cords connected and disconnected from the bulb.

If you intend to use the license plate mounting hole through your vehicle's chassis, create a wire disconnect system so you can remove/install the license plate. When used near a license plate they work fine but do not provide the light needed to illuminate the license plate.

Bolt diameter too big. I have ordered several different license plate lights from different manufacturers and they were the largest of them and they are too big to fit either the license plates or the bracket that holds them. The rest of the lamps fit. If they had the option to make them bigger or smaller, it would be better to make them smaller because you can still put smaller screws in bigger holes, but you can't put bigger screws in smaller holes. Pros: Well made, the backlight is perfect (not too bright, just the right white light) and imagine that it's for the intended purpose (motorcycle) to diffuse the light was perfect. I figured it would take more (actually three) to cover a standard 12" x 6" license plate (so I bought 4). It's nice to see that a properly sized quenching resistor is built into the product to prevent the LED from being overloaded at 12V. They will last a very long time.
