They help you see behind you better. However, the included lock washers do not fit in the recess, and the exposed countersunk screw heads can collect dirt and rain. caps help.

Both threads were right hand. So I had to fix it first, otherwise after installation the mirrors kept shifting. Added a lock washer, still wouldn't stop moving. Mirror removed and back in stock. Rock.

The first part was disassembled so I sent it back, the company sent me new ones, I put them on and wow another 2 inches of vision. You never know that one day it could save your life. Excellent customer service.

Typical Chinese design. The anodizing looks good, but the workmanship sucks. I only bought them as a stopgap until I decide to go with bar end mirrors. And they do an excellent job at this task. But don't expect real quality here.

Matches the style of the MT03 perfectly. The only issue I found is that the hardware needs to be upgraded to stainless steel. The hexagon socket heads already show signs of rust after 2 weeks, I would rate that much higher if the fittings didn't start burning so quickly.

These risers/extensions come with six bolts and four lock washers. Three M8 screws; two right turns, one reverse turn. Three M10 screws; two right turns; a backward movement. Two lock washers for M10 threads and two lock washers for M8 threads. My entry was a 2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 (formerly FJ-09) that required an M10 right turn and M10 back turn. I didn't use lock washers because I prefer thread lock.

The Royal Enfield has a right hand thread mirror and a left hand thread mirror so that's exactly what I need. There were no obvious machine marks on the extensions and the satin black finish was pretty good. They moved the mirrors out just far enough to provide a good view of the rear and blind spots, while not half filling the mirrors with elbows and shoulders.
