T. Overstake I had the same thing but luckily it fell into my lap. What I did to fix it was I taped mine to the holder with chewing gum. Problem solved.

I installed it and after about 5 minutes of driving the watch fell out of its holder and was lost. The mounting screw system is not very strong. To be honest I installed mine on a Sportster so it would stay intact on a smoother bike.

The metal components are well made. We bought two of these. Both had dead batteries. Replacing the battery in the unnamed movement is more difficult than necessary as there is no pry slot on the back that requires prying open with a knife blade, which is not the safest procedure. One of the two died right after installing a new battery. The replacement watch also had a dead battery. I know it's not the most expensive watch but still expected better.

I bought this particular watch because somewhere in the advertised description it says it is a "luminous" watch. I wanted a watch that I can see well at night in dark places. This watch is by no means a "luminous" watch. They managed a little: the numbers in the photo look like the ones that glow at night. But they don't glow at all. I understand it was a cheap purchase but it's still nice to get what was advertised. There are many motorcycle watches. Choose the best for you.
