The entire light assembly is about the size of my thumb.

You are too small. Measurements must be printed in large print somewhere on the images. I don't know what bike they thought it should be on, maybe a small pocket bike.

Good on 08 Ktm 450exc

Good. Disassembled and cast sealant. I use silicone glue. Seal the inside edges to keep water out. Then snap it on, let it dry before installing. I just drilled a new hole and screwed it on so I don't have to drill where the LED is. By the way, this is just an LED. I wanted a small one for my rear turn signal and can't beat the $7 price tag.

Works well, decent brightness, much better with some mods

The lighting worked well and was surprisingly bright, which is what you'd expect for around $11. Disadvantage: The LED board literally just floats inside. There is nothing holding it in place. It's also definitely not waterproof. Will probably fail within a few months with outdoor use and vibration. Pros: Easy to change. I disassembled the case, coated the circuit board with transparent silicone to make it waterproof, painted the inside of the case white to reflect light, glued the circuit…
