Wire gauge too thin

They seem to work fine but the wire gauge is too small. The only way I was able to effectively strip the wire was with a fingernail.

The thing is very cheaply made

I don't use that on my KTM. Looks like it was made by school kids in a hobby shop. Sharp edges. Weird cable. The LEDs are tilted inwards. There is some type of insulating glue that doesn't cover the LEDs properly and should act as a lens. Whoever designed these things and then built them should look for another profession. They suck terribly.

Great for lighting, terrible for license plate mounting!

The light is great, but that's where it ends. The bolt is the plug and when you tighten it breaks the solder and pulls it out of the socket. Sooo I put a nut on the front and back to grind it onto the stud itself and cut the stud in half with very little effort. Probably great only for lighting, but not for installing license plate and lighting in one. I'll also add that the insulation on the wires melts before it's heat shrinkable with heat shrink tubing rather than a lighter.
