Needed a bonnet pin set for my racing BMW and they tick the bill. As a budget conscious rider, I didn't care how it looked as long as it fit properly (long enough) and was strong enough. After two hours of track time and several trips under the hood, I can say they are doing their job.

Installation went well. The paint peeled off after a month, now silvery. They were gold and black. Both disappear. Also, the nuts won't hold tight, so be sure to use thread lock. Lost a nut along the way and had to order a new whole set because you can't find a nut with that exact thread size in Holies or Home Depots.

I'm tired of fiddling with my original hood latch and I like the hood pins as a simple and functional solution. They wear out quickly, but for quick access to a car that often drives into the countryside, they're a good choice. Finding and making good binding support isn't always easy, but I like the result.
