bought because my other MURS radios are buried in the garage. I agree they are a bit pricey but they work. Very good range and very clear sound. I have 20 years of radio experience and I seem to have a lot. I highly recommend it.

Bought an RMM2050 for use at work (Walmart) and use it every day. Works well with other radios once programmed - programming can be a little tricky. Motorola radios are expensive but better than $40-60 radios (longer range, more reliable).

It's great Cannot be used as it needs to be programmed through no fault of Revain. I returned immediately and followed the instructions except for them. The money hasn't been refunded yet, but I'm sure I'll return it soon. I have to program through my company but the boss gave me another one. I really like shopping on Amazon.

These are excellent radios that will last for years with heavy daily use. We use them in a commercial greenhouse and still have a good life with them. Expect a battery change after a few years. They are often thrown away, but they keep working. The clip on the belt is thin - it will break.

Love that it has access to weather channels. Was a great addition to the radios we are replacing that have been used for a while and are ready to be scrapped. Fits easily in a pocket and comes with a belt clip that does not need to be removed while charging. The charge lasted for a full 12-hour shift. Excellent radio. I will definitely buy them again.

We bought several of these for field work on the farm. The farm is designed for growing crops and is fairly open plan, with several tree windbreaks and a few 100 foot hills. The radio works great! The furthest point we've reported is about 2.5 miles and not a problem as long as you're outside. If you get in a truck or in an office, they don't work. They look pretty good together. If I have time, I will update the battery life later.

We use them at the guest ranch. They allow us to keep in touch with everyone: registering guests in the office, escorting guests to rooms, skeet shooting, babysitting in the bar/bar, kitchen etc. They are also great for upcoming weddings. These are solid oak and yaupon, the range drops significantly. We love them and they do what we need. If you're in the woods and expecting miles of range, you'll likely be disappointed.

We bought these walkie-talkies for working in agricultural equipment together with a two-wire surveillance microphone for Motorola CP200 Empire. The radio worked well and we had no trouble transmitting from one tractor cab over rough terrain to another operator in another tractor's cab 1/2 mile away.
