I did it solo. My desk is against the wall and there is very little space. Luckily my desk supported my weight as I sat on it and tightened all the screws. It would go a lot quicker if I had a few more hands to help. All monitors are about the same height. Sturdy stand for 23x2 and 27x1 (I will be replacing 2x23 with 2x27 in a few weeks). I use the bolt version as it is more stable. The center bolt plus two carriage bolts hold everything in place pretty well. The only issue for me was that the bolt base plate was unthreaded. Small for me as I had an M10 tap to tap myself rather than waiting for parts. Since this is a QA issue for the manufacturer, I'm deducting a star. Overall an excellent product in its price range. One mounting plate is VERY loose as it doesn't hold the monitor in place and I can rotate it like a top. (video attached) I want a replacement. This is a five star product with no defective parts. Multiple installation options, durable and reliable. Waiting for an update if a replacement arrives or a workaround is available - or if I'm using monitors and have another problem. UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer and the defective item was quickly
