Not as advertised. in ceiling and wall brackets for TV

This bracket was not suitable for my use. The backplate, which mounts to the wall, is just under 20 inches long. My wall was 24" studs. I don't really blame it for the mount, but it made installation that much harder. The 175 lb max weight should be completely wrong. My 60 lb 42" plasma lets that out Arms flex so they become unbalanced when extending.Also the pivot points seem to be so stressed and prevent the set from moving.I had to modify the bracket to get it.because of the distance between

It was exactly what I was looking for.

Bought this bracket to hang a TV in my bedroom. I wanted to rotate the TV 90 degrees and be able to see the entire screen while lying in bed. I've searched both online and local stores like Bj's and Best Buy for a while but couldn't find anything with enough clearance to freely rotate 90 degrees. When I found this item I used the measurements listed in the description in conjunction with the specs of the TV I bought and was pleased to find that the mount would indeed fit. It's actually perfect.

COLD. enough.

This thing is damn cool. This is the first swivel TV mount I've ever owned. I've done a massive amount of research on almost all of them. Product against price, it is untouchable. I went through a large number of high end and low end stores to compare them. And I pulled on "my" proprietary swivel mount, a screw fell out. I then went to see how heavy it was by lifting the box and it weighed no more than 5 pounds. How can I believe in an extremely lightweight mount for my $2000 TV? And the priceโ€ฆ

Excellent mount Don't think the level is set in the base

If this is your first time using this mount, the quality is excellent with one exception. The bubble level installed at its base is not level. After reading a few other reviews I used a 2 foot level to set the base and the 2 foot level actually showed that the level in the base was nowhere near level. Other reviewers noted that once mounted on the mounting bezel, the TV was not level. This is also easy to fix. The installation guide shows how to align the bezel that the TV is attached to. Iโ€ฆ

Note that the brackets only extend fully up to 22 inches and Samsung TVs that have screw hole cutouts on the back require separate screws.

is cumbersome but it's definitely a two person job. The bracket itself isn't easy, so once you've marked the mullions you'll need someone to hold the bracket to the wall and line it up so you can mark where to drill. Once it's up, it's pretty easy to hang it on the bracket. The main issue with the mount I have is that it only extends 22 inches instead of the advertised 26 inches. This is an issue for me as I expected to be able to rotate the TV a full 90 degrees and not bump it against theโ€ฆ

Great mount but there are two different versions.

This is a great mount. It's very durable and fairly easy to install, albeit heavy. Now I have three: one for the 46-inch Samsung, the 55-inch Vizio, and the 60-inch Vizio. I am very happy with the quality of all three. I was able to assemble them all myself but I recommend a second person to hang the TV on the bracket and it would be much easier to install the bracket with a second person. Installation is quite simple, just look at the bolts and where the holes will be 4) drill the holes 5)โ€ฆ
