Made so cheaply I'm afraid to turn it on! Circuit breaker or fuse not installed. Will return. The cable is a flat cable with no outer insulator that a child or pet can chew through with one bite, but the connector plug is designed to accept a round cable. It says it conforms to UL STD 962A, but nothing says it's certified to that standard - a clear joke! Another piece of Chinese junk!

I bought this outlet to put on a student's desk so I can plug in my electronics. It worked great. I recommend this product. The cable is not very long, but ideal.

I used this device to transform old handmade furniture into modern furniture that now has built in power and USB charging. It fits perfectly under the ledge of my sideboard and matches the bill perfectly. The cord length is long but not too long and the flat surface of the socket is great.
