🧤 Genesis Gloves by Mountain Made Review

Nice thickness of this glove. The zipper and seams on the inside of the glove are uncomfortable. I wear very large gloves, but these gloves were too big at the fingertips. A large glove would probably be too small for me. Unfortunately, the seemingly torn seam ripped off my finger 30 minutes after wearing it. I would do without these gloves.

I had high hopes for these gloves. I received them on Wednesday and tried them on at home. They fit my hand perfectly, just the way I wanted them. I live in Maine and brought them with me primarily to go to and from work. The grip is great and they were warm, just what I was looking for. The next morning I put them on and drove to work, returning home with no problems. Today I put them on and one of the zippers had problems. Both zippers are having problems tonight and are not working properly.

My husband gets Raynaud's Syndrome when his fingers get unusually cold and white, so I bought him these gloves to wear all the time outside in Maine. He has extra long fingers so I took size XL and it fits him perfectly. We like the zipper on the glove and the non-slip palm. However, the touch finger to use the phone or tablet doesn't work as well as we would like, but it works. We haven't had time to really experiment with how warm they are.

Appearance: Nice minimalist glove (apart from the small logo) Fit: Slightly larger than expected. Didn't want to return a size smaller because of Revain's new cumbersome return options. Feeling: Overall it's comfortable. It keeps the wind out well as you walk the streets of Boston. However, I can't say that it works that well when cycling. Bought Outdoor Gloves from Mountain Made on my never-ending search for a pair of warm gloves to use in both fine and cold weather for working and shooting with rifles and shotguns. I put them on a couple of times for pheasant hunting at a temperature of 10-25 degrees and a significant minus wind. They proved to be a great balance of being very warm while still offering mobility and "feel".

These gloves are comfortable to wear, easy to use with touch screen phones and I prefer to zip my gloves up and take them off. I would say that this glove is not suitable for temperatures near the recommended 32°F; at 50-60°F it's actually more appropriate if you plan on using them for a long period of time (e.g. a few hours if you're going camping).
