Sturdy School Shoes: Mountain Warehouse Plain Kids Rain Boots Review

Unfortunately I have to send these back. Bought a size 8 for my almost 3 year old. They are a bit too big for the foot (that would be fine on its own) but the main problem is that they are so high that they reach to the knees and are very baggy on the leg so he can't walk in them properly. You just look stupid on him. They may fit older children in larger sizes, but they need to be a few inches shorter to work for toddlers. It's a shame because otherwise they look great.

Bought for a little boy who loves the great outdoors, very strong and comfortable. He wears them every day in winter so they fit him perfectly.

The boots are great, well made and don't look cheap. We ordered a size 13 to make sure they would last all season but I just noticed that the pants say 12 so I'd say go up a size because they fit, I'm just hoping that they last a long time.

Size 9 is not an adult size 9. This is a child size 9. The description is not clear. The rest of the wellies are of excellent quality, only disappointed by the size.

Excellent rubber boots. For example, they are longer than most children's rubber boots because my little lady likes to jump in puddles to keep her pants dry.

So I ordered Little Kids 11. What I received is marked 10. And they still fit better than any other 11's we have. It's just really hard to figure out what to recommend people to buy to get the right fit with this one. These are solid good quality wellies but unfortunately I wasn't aware they weren't full length, they come down to the calves of my 8 year old.

Great, but even a month after receiving it, a disgusting chemical smell filled our lobby. We ended up having to store them outside, it's so intense.

Boots seem well made, a bit big. The boots have a very strong rubber smell, even months after purchase. Not breathable, can cause sweating.!

The quality of this rainbow is excellent. Not too hard. my kids love it The size is too big, I had to go back and buy a size smaller.

They seemed great boots. My two complaints are that the color has completely fallen off and my son was very excited with the picture he saw. Second, they smell awful. Not like new plastic, more like a skunk smell. The size tag was a sticker that was peeling off. I hate leaving bad reviews but I want people to know what to expect from them. Otherwise they seem to repel water and they were well packaged. i will return it

Totally normal boots. Not as thick as Kamik or other fashion brands, but not cheaply too thin either. They're fine, especially if you're looking for sizes between a large and a small child. Good option under $40.

Not like in the photo. cheerful light green with light green underside expected. appears army green and yellow in bright sunlight but brown otherwise.

The boots were fine for a few months. Now they flow. Not just a little, but completely. If my son stands in a puddle, we should take off our boots and throw out the water. I want to return the money.

Really disappointing. These boots leaked when my daughter first wore them. It's a shame because the fit was great, they felt good but totally useless and unreliable for what they were designed for - keep your kid's feet dry!

Nothing for my daughter. Perfect fit, comfortable for long walks, durable and looks like it will last you until it outgrows it. and above all waterproof.

These boots seem to fit well and do the job, but other than that they are the nicest boots I've ever seen! They are a kind of iridescent turquoise. My son loves them, they look very cosmic. Arrived faster than expected (at least 2 days earlier).

They look like good boots however I ordered a size 2 toddler and received a size 1 toddler. Unfortunately they don't fit my son.

They fit as expected and lasted forever for my son. They are comfortable and of a good height. Many wellies are too short, so he puts on wellies when he goes rowing. They are just the right height for the depth he can paddle and are solid. Would definitely buy them again.

In the photo they have greenish soles and they are yellow. I also ordered a size 2, they are small... shows UK 1 on the bottom, I think that's why they sent me a 1. The sticker said US 2 but they are much smaller than expected. The size is bigger.
