Extreme Rating - This bag can be used in temperatures as low as -17C. This is a survival temperature only. The bag is not intended for regular use at this temperature. Rip Stop Fabric - Stop rips in their tracks with this heavy duty fabric. Two Way Zip - A two-way zip is useful for easy opening when ventilation is required. Zips can be full length or just half way.

Run away! Not warm Not durable

This sleeping bag is really bad quality. It looked good when we bought it, but after trying to put the sleeping bag in the bag, the bag ripped. Well we gave him a second chance, he looked warm. We went to Patagonia for a week long trek. The average temperature at night was over 40F (>5C). I felt so cold in it while my partner who has another sleeping bag that goes down to freezing was fine (i.e. same minimum comfortable temperature). You get what you pay for.

For a bag light enough and warm enough I figured $35 was ok. I plan to use this for mountaineering in three seasons and for my price range (basically I wanted to spend less than fifty dollars as I'm an aspiring hiker and college student on a budget). Statistically this was the best deal I could find after much online searching. It's fairly light by my standards, under 4 pounds, and fits in the sleeping bag compartment of my Deuter backpack.
